1x 25cm round baking pan
6-entrée servings Ingredients 10 sheets
of filo 4 large
fresh eggs 2 cups
milk 125gr
kefalograviera cheese 125gr
kasseri cheese 125gr
feta cheese 2 cups
dry crumbled filo from leftovers 1 tablespoon
oil 2 tablespoon melted butter Preheat oven 190c-375f |
Preparation: Grease
a 25cm round baking pan lightly. Mix
oil and butter for brushing filo. Fold two filo sheets and cut in
half. Crumble
cheeses to small pieces in a bowl. Beat eggs until frothy and
add, cheeses and crumbled filo and mix. Place
4 sheets of filo in the bottom of the pan butter each one with brush
and spread some of the egg-milk mixture, cover with two filo halves
follow the same as the first, always brushing filo with butter. Finally
on top place the other 4 sheets of filo, fold properly to seal the
openings, brush with butter and moisten with little milk with same
brush and bake for forty five minutes, until golden brown. Remove
from the oven and let settle for 10 minutes. Serve
hot as entrée
