Friendly printing kotopoulo me mpamies
4 Servings:
Ingredients:
1 fresh chicken about 2 ½kg
1 kg fresh okra or
2x250gr frozen
1 can whole plum tomatoes 756ml
1 medium onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic grated
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
½ cup white wine
1 teaspoon sugar
Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
Okra can be found at Supermarkets fresh or frozen veggies
section

Preparation method:
Break tomatoes with thumb
and press juice out but keep plum tomato whole
Cut chicken to 8 pieces and brown them in a skillet with
hot olive oil.
Sauté onions and garlic lightly, add tomatoes, juice and
sugar and simmer 5 minutes
Add wine, salt, pepper and chicken.
Cook for 25 minutes, until chicken is cooked and tender
Add okra and cook for 4 minutes more uncovered.
Do not overcook okra and do not stir, because will brake
Serve hot with fried or small boiled potatoes.
