Ingredients: 125gr
cream cheese 220gr
good quality Feta cheese 12
pieces sun-dried tomatoes 1 tablespoon
fresh basil finely chopped 2-tablespoons
olive oil ½ teaspoon
fine chopped red hot pepper or 4 drops Tabasco sauce. |
Preparation method: Rinse
dried tomatoes and soak in hot water for two hours. Remove
from the soaking water, rinse again and place them in plastic
container with 2 tablespoons olive oil, pinch of oregano and 2 bay
leaves. Mix
and refrigerate overnight. Blend
or chop fine, sun-dried tomatoes. Combine
cheese, oil and continue blending until it reaches a thick creamy texture. Add
the remaining ingredients, mix, cover and refrigerate for over two
hours. Serve
with crusty or pita bread crackers or fresh vegetables. Lasts
refrigerated for a week.
